"Parques de Sintra - Monte da Lua S.A." is carrying out the rehabilitation of several buildings in Santa Eufémia, Sintra, Lisbon.
With the objective of maintaining the continuity of the material and aesthetic language of the architectural complex, the work to be carried out includes the reproduction of missing or damaged elements throughout the identification of components with a similar nature present in the complex.
The present work gives a new function to Building D, which requires an layout intervention, with new support spaces, through its requalification in order to better respond to the current needs and desired comfort, through the creation of areas for the equipment, spa, sanitary facilities, kitchen, cafeteria and several work offices on the first floor.
In this intervention, the materials/work provided in several spaces are characterizedby:softtextured stoneware for floors, recoveryandtreatment of existing wooden floors and baseboards, ceramic wall coverings, rehabilitation of ceilings and false ceilings, acoustic and thermal insulation, paintings and special installations.
This project also included a set of infrastructures connecting all the buildings of the Santa Eufémia complex, like water and sewage networks and electrical equipment.
