The project consisted of the rehabilitation of a historic building - St. Joseph's Church - Igreja de São José, and the construction of an adjacent building for the Atouguia da Baleia Museum. The contract covered the complete recovery of exterior façades and partial recovery, with minor changes, in the interior walls.

The interior rehabilitation was focused on the change of coatings and special installations. The contract included the following main works: demolitions, waterproofing, oak wood flooring, mosaics/tiles, carpentry in oak wood, aluminium joinery and stainless steel metalworking.

Special facilities networks included water network, sewage, HVAC ("VRV" type), electrical installation, intrusion detection, fire detection and ITED.
