The construction of the Transrhumel viaduct was considered the most important achievement of the city of Constantine since the independence. This viaduct is already considered the "eighth wonder" of the city with seven bridges. With a length of 1119m, the viaduct has a futuristic design, which modernized the urban configuration of the city. The contract consisted of the execution of the supported sections of the Main Viaduct. In addition, a viaduct and an access ramp to the south of the main viaduct were executed. It also contemplated the execution of several retaining walls in the vicinity of the main viaduct.
