The new headquarters of the Ministry of Religious Affairs aims to be a center of spiritual and civilizational influence and an extension of the Great Mosque and the Islamic University of Algiers. The location of the new headquarters has historical and civilizational importance due to colonialism in the area over the years.

The new building is located in an area of 25,798 m² and consists of 5 administrative blocks that include 11 meeting rooms, a prayer room and a parking for 200 cars.
