Rui Dias Lopes

Supervisory Board

Rui Dias Lopes holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico. He began his career in the 1970s at MSF – Moniz da Maia, Serra & Fortunato. From the late 1980s onwards, he took on several senior management positions (Director and CEO) in some of the most prestigious construction companies in Portugal, including ENGIL, SOCONSTROI, SOMAGUE and HAGEN.

Recognised as an influential leader in the Portuguese construction sector, he has extensive experience and has made significant contributions to the industry, both nationally and internationally, while maintaining an active role alongside the main market players. Throughout his career, he has stood out as an agent of change, demonstrating the ability to design and implement bold and innovative business strategies that drive growth, enhance performance, and ensure profitability.

He has been working directly with Group FCM since 2019, having served as Director and currently as a member of the Supervisory Board.



João Ribeiro

Supervisory Board

João Ribeiro holds a degree in Economics from the Catholic University of Lisbon and a postgraduate degree in Financial Analysis from the Faculty of Economics of Porto (FEP). He completed a Master’s in Business Management at INDESS in Madrid and a PhD course in Business Administration and Marketing Management at the University of Seville. He further enriched his education with specialization programs in Business Strategy, Sustainability Management, and Mergers & Acquisitions at Harvard University.

Since 1985, he has served as CEO in several multinational companies, taking on global management responsibilities in Portugal, Spain, and Germany. In 1996, he founded Mercal Consulting Group, where he has since been President and CEO, receiving several international awards and distinctions for his excellence and performance. He is Chairman of IMCN and Partner at Transeo, two leading international networks in strategic consulting and business transfer. Since 1994, he has also pursued an academic career as Visiting Professor at universities in Portugal and Brazil.

Within Group FCM, he was Chairman of the General Assembly and, since 2024, has served as Chairman of the Supervisory Board.

 

José Lino

Supervisory Board

José Lino holds a degree in Economics from ISCEF in Lisbon (now ISEG). He began his professional career at ZAGOPE, where he served as Financial Manager from the 1970s until the late 1980s. At the same company, he joined the Board of Directors as CFO, a position he held from the late 1980s until 2013, when he pursued various personal projects.

He has been collaborating with Group FCM for several years and is currently a Member of the Supervisory Board and the Remuneration Committee Chairman.
