FCM - Construções has won the contract for the execution of a new building to be built for Hovione Farmaciência, S.A. in Sete Casas, Loures.

Building B6 is intended to prepare and optimize the manufacturing processes for chemical products, before industrial production is scaled. This process line is the heart of Hovione's production, requiring high levels of technical complexity in the building, both at the level of the structure with 120-minute fire protection requirements, as well as the existence of clean rooms (hospital type) with high levels of demands on the environmental quality of the interior space.

The value of the contract in question is more than EUR 2,2 million for a contract to be carried out within a very short period (6,5 months) and with a very high degree of complexity.

The scope of the now contracted contract will involve demolitions, new building in metallic structure, construction of concrete and mixed slabs, and execution of clean rooms, lighting, power supply, security and HVAC with high standards of exigency.

Hovione is a rapidly expanding multinational, considering itself to be a strategic customer for FCM, S.A., having already been guaranteed other contracts of this same client.
